Designed specifically for student-athletes, our modern dorm-style housing creates an environment that promotes responsibility, independence, and personal growth while ensuring students have the support they need to succeed. With dedicated study spaces, comfortable common areas, recreational lounges, and attentive supervision, residents enjoy a balanced lifestyle that supports both their educational and hockey development.

PMHA FOOD SERVICES
At Pilot Mound Hockey Academy, proper nutrition is recognized as a critical component of athletic performance, recovery, and overall well-being. Our comprehensive food services program is designed to provide student-athletes with the fuel they need to excel in the classroom, at training, and on game day.
Operating from our modern, fully equipped culinary facility, PMHA provides three balanced, nutrient-rich meals daily—breakfast, lunch, and supper—carefully planned to meet the demands of high-performance athletes. Menus are built around fresh, quality ingredients and are designed to support energy levels, recovery, strength development, and long-term healthy habits.
In addition to scheduled meals, healthy snacks are available throughout the day to ensure athletes remain properly fueled between classes, practices, workouts, and games. Students also have access to kitchen facilities until 9:15 PM, offering flexibility to accommodate busy schedules and individual nutritional needs.
Our food services program goes beyond simply providing meals—it helps educate student-athletes about the importance of nutrition as part of a healthy and successful lifestyle. By prioritizing balanced nutrition and athlete-focused meal planning, PMHA ensures every student has the resources needed to perform at their highest level.

PMHA DORM ROOMS
At Pilot Mound Hockey Academy, every student-athlete is provided with their own private dorm room—offering a quiet, personal space for rest, study, and focus. Our residence halls also feature shared bathrooms that are fully private and designed for individual use, ensuring comfort and privacy while maintaining a clean, efficient layout. Beyond the rooms, students enjoy access to spacious recreational areas that encourage connection, relaxation, and team bonding. Whether it’s hanging out in the lounge or celebrating a big win together, our dorms are where community is built and friendships flourish. Student life at PMHA is about more than just living—it’s about growing together as a team.
PMHA FITNESS FACILITY
The Pilot Mound Hockey Academy Fitness Centre is a dedicated training facility designed to support the physical development, performance, and recovery of our student-athletes. Conveniently located within the residence building, the facility provides athletes with year-round access to the tools and resources needed to enhance strength, endurance, mobility, and overall athletic performance.
Equipped with a comprehensive range of free weights, cardio equipment, resistance training machines, and functional training areas, the fitness centre supports both individual training programs and structured team workouts. Athletes benefit from a professional environment that encourages consistency, accountability, and long-term development.
The facility's close proximity to student housing allows athletes to efficiently balance training, academics, recovery, and daily routines. Whether participating in off-ice conditioning sessions, following personalized strength programs, or focusing on injury prevention and recovery, students have convenient access to everything they need to maximize their development.
Under the guidance of PMHA's coaching and performance staff, athletes follow age-appropriate training plans designed to improve strength, power, speed, and overall athleticism. These programs complement on-ice development and help prepare student-athletes for the demands of elite competition.

BLACK JACK STEWART ARENA
The Pilot Mound Millennium Recreation Complex (PMMRC) serves as the home of Pilot Mound Hockey Academy and is at the heart of the student-athlete experience. This impressive 46,000-square-foot facility provides PMHA athletes with access to a professional training environment where they can develop their skills, compete, and pursue excellence both on and off the ice.
As the primary training and practice facility for the Buffaloes, the PMMRC features an NHL-size ice surface and a range of modern amenities designed to support athlete development. The facility provides an ideal setting for daily training, team activities, and game-day preparation while fostering a culture of dedication, discipline, and achievement.
More than just a hockey arena, the PMMRC is a reflection of the passion, pride, and commitment of the Pilot Mound community. Built through the vision and support of local residents, the complex stands as a testament to the community’s enduring investment in youth development and the growth of the game.

PMHA DRESSING ROOMS
The Pilot Mound Millennium Recreation Centre (PMMRC) features five dedicated dressing rooms exclusively assigned to the male and female programs of Pilot Mound Hockey Academy. Designed to support the daily demands of a high-performance hockey environment, these spaces provide student-athletes with a comfortable, secure, and professional setting to prepare for practices, games, and team activities.
More than simply a place to get ready, our dressing rooms serve as an extension of the PMHA experience—where athletes build team culture, strengthen relationships, and develop the leadership, accountability, and camaraderie that are essential to long-term success.
In addition to PMHA’s dedicated facilities, the PMMRC includes five additional dressing rooms to accommodate visiting teams, tournaments, showcases, and special events. This flexibility allows the facility to host a wide range of hockey and community events while maintaining a high standard of comfort and organization for all participants.

PMHA/PMMH SHOOTING BAYS
Precision shooting is a cornerstone of elite hockey performance, and at Pilot Mound Hockey Academy, our athletes have access to top-tier shooting lanes located at the Pilot Mound Millennium Recreation Centre (PMMRC). This specialized facility allows players to hone their technique through focused repetition, targeted drills, and video-assisted feedback. From mastering quick releases to dialing in shot accuracy, the PMMRC shooting area is built to elevate individual skill development. With expert coaching and a high-performance training environment, our student-athletes gain the confidence and consistency needed to excel in game situations.
PMHA TRANSPORTATION
At Pilot Mound Hockey Academy, the safety and well-being of our student-athletes is a top priority. To support our teams throughout the season, PMHA operates a dedicated transportation fleet that provides safe, efficient, and dependable travel for games, tournaments, team events, and academy activities.
Our transportation resources include two 52-passenger coaches, used exclusively by PMHA teams for road trips and competition travel, as well as a 24-passenger shuttle vehicle for local transportation needs, including community events, appointments, and other academy-related activities.
All vehicles are maintained to high safety and operating standards, ensuring our athletes travel comfortably and arrive prepared to perform at their best. By providing dedicated transportation, PMHA is able to offer a seamless travel experience while reinforcing the professionalism expected of a premier hockey academy program.
