Education Partner

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy is proud to partner with Pilot Mound Collegiate Institute (PMCI), part of the Prairie Spirit School Division, to provide our student-athletes with a high-quality educational experience that complements their hockey development.

At PMCI, students have access to a comprehensive range of academic programs, including core curriculum courses, athletics, arts, and a variety of specialized learning opportunities. The school's flexible and supportive environment allows student-athletes to successfully balance the demands of elite hockey training with their educational goals.

PMCI has a strong history of supporting academy students through programming designed to promote academic success while accommodating the unique schedule of high-performance athletes. Our student-athletes are encouraged to pursue excellence in the classroom while developing the skills, discipline, and work ethic required for success beyond graduation.

• Students attend classes throughout the school day before heading to the rink for training and team activities.
• Student-athletes can earn up to eight academic credits per school year (four credits per semester).
• A total of 30 credits is required for graduation from PMCI.
• PMHA students receive one Hockey Academy credit for each year of participation in the program.
• Access to a variety of academic, athletic, arts, and specialized course offerings.
• Individual support and guidance to help students balance academics, athletics, and personal development.
